Really looking forward to XD going native as I think it will scream on the M1! But for now it’s a 7/10.
Not as fast as on the Intel hardware and scrolling is not as smooth, which is a real shame. Runs fine and I’ve had almost no issues with this both on the beta version and the Rosetta version. It’s going to be a while until CC really shines on Apple’s silicon.
Based on the shear power of the M1 I was expecting it to be a tad faster, even while running through Rosetta 2, that is not the case. General speed of operation is a little lower than on an Intel 6-core Mac mini. I know I would have appreciated this info before going all-in on M1, so I’m sharing it here for those in a similar situation to me.Īdobe CC runs on M1 via Rosetta, but it is somewhat flakey in places.
